Heres the story:
I made a custom group and the users of that group should only see/post-in one board. But due to their post-count, they can see and post in all the other boards. How can I fix this?
Edit the membergroup to only see 1 board by using Modify Group feature. Just tick whatever box it is for them.

But, I tried that. They can still access it due to their post count status. Its like this
Post status: Newbie -> Can enter
Costum Group: (Whatever) -> Should not be able to enter
But, since they're Newbie AND (whatever) they can access it.

Your trying to restrict a forum from a group?
Set the permissions by boards.
Admin> Manage boards> Board/forum> Permissions , then uncheck the allow box.

Are they apart of another membergroup? If your denying access for one type of membergroup and another membergroup has access, and the person is apart of each group, then they will still be allowed access.
Well, they're automaticly in another posting group to their amount of posts. Like, "Newbies" (by postcount) have access. But (Costum Group) shouldn't. However, (coustum group) members are sometimes also "Newbies"
If newbies have access to it, and they are apart of both the custom group and the newbies group, they will see the board.
You need to go to your Board permissions, then DENY that membergroup from each of the boards you don't want them to have access to.
Deny will override the permissions of any other membergroup that member is in. Use caution.

This is how my board permission thing looks like for the board I don't want the "Special" group to be in.

They can still see the board and read the posts inside the board

No deny permissions are needed for that.
Edit *all* post count groups and set every single permission flag to *disallow*. So the postcount groups are still there but won't interfere any longer with the security.
How you can easily control if you did this work right:
When you check the "Permissions by Membergroup" overview the postcount groups should all show
Permissions allowed: 0
Permissions denied: 0
Make sure you see these two "0" numbers - only then your job is done right.
