My forum was running fine a couple of hours ago loading in around 0.5 secs or less, but now i've had a large increase in people on the site, from 10 to around 200 and now pages take 32.168 seconds to load with 49 queries.
I can only bring this down to the increase of members.

I see at least my mod is running there, and OnlineUserstoday..it could be that the number of queries is high because of it. But I get around 22 now as a guest , which I assume is the portal mod mostly. And it loads fast at 0.3sec.
Is it inside the forum or special pages the higher number/execution time occur?
must have been server trouble or server load or summate, cos a couple of hours on the forum is back to its usually fast loading times.
you should check the link above anyways...u may be able to speed it up even more......
my board didnt always run slow...just periodically....
spoke to my host and they said that it was something to do with a number of cron jobs running around that time.
