Title: Spellcheck error in IE7 but fine in Firefox
Post by: noonoo on January 20, 2009, 10:04:00 AM
Hi, when i spellcheck a post in IE7 i get a error symbol bottom left of the browser and the spellcheck pop up box pops up but stays blank and is titled Blank Page, if i click the error symbol it says:

Line: 62
Char: 2
Error: 'spellstring' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: Link to the posts url

It works OK for private messages or when checking my profile signature in IE7 it only seems to be for posts and in firefox it works OK for everything including posts. I can spell check on this forum and another using IE7 OK so I'm guessing its a setting Ive overlooked rather than a problem with SMF.

Many thanks in advance

Nick

I figured out the problem, i converted from phpbb to SMF 1.1.7 then updated to SMF 2.0 beta 4, when i did "Check all files against current versions" in the admin panel it said a couple of files for the template were an old version so i deleted and re uploaded the theme and all seems to be fixed  :) :) :)
