Otsikko: Search engines killed Apache.
Kirjoitti: rakuli - helmikuu 23, 2005, 11:09:45 AP
Hi
I am having a problem when I try to enable search engine friendly URL's (SEFU) in my forum. I run my server on a win xp pro with apache 2.0.39 and <edited /---php 5.0.3\---edited>
When I check help the popup advises me that I should be able to enable this on my server but when I turn it on and save I get a windows error.
LainaaApache has caused a fatal error and must be closed
After this apache is not closed but it no longer serves pages. I have to restart Apache (it's running as a service on windows) and manually turn this option off  by editing the line in the script.
I have read many posts regarding SEFU in this forum but none seem to have encountered this problem.
Thanks for any help and let me know if I should be posting this problem over at apache instead of here.

You should upgrade Apache and make sure AcceptPathInfo is on.
