Title: Prevent threads from appearing in Most Recent Topics list?

Hello, is there a way to somehow tag forum threads so that they are excluded from the Unread Topics list?

For example say you're a Dog and a Cat thread you've abandoned keeps popping up in your Unread list and you'd like to prevent it from happening.

^^^ Thanks much!!  I'll keep this handy for when the board I'm working with upgrades, for now though it's running SMF 1.1.7 and this mod isn't compatible.

See if this mod (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=137) will work for SMF 1.1.7.
