Hello,
I have changed the allowance on avatars to 200x200pixels, which works fine -- but when you post a message, the full image isn't' displayed. Instead, there is a scrollbar that allows you to scroll left and right along the image.
How/what do I change so the full avatar image will display correctly when users post messages?

THis solved the scroll bar problem, but still -- the avatar is cut off on the sides. Is there a way to change the width of the avatar "area" next to the message post?
I set the avatar options to 200x200pixels, and it show sup fine in the welcome message (hey, milesdavis) area. But on message posts, it's cut off.

That would be done in your theme, either have the html scale the avatar down, or allow more space in the table cell to allow it to display.
Find and remove "table-layout: fixed;" as well as the overflow.
