Hello,
today I got this message on my board, www.pescarul.com/forum_pescuit/
Can't create/write to file '/var/tmp/#sql_e972_0.MYI' (Errcode: 13)
File: /www/p/pescarul/htdocs/forum_pescuit/Sources/Recent.php
Line: 88
Any idea to fix?
Thanks
I have the same issue.... just started about 45mins ago I think...
I think our /var/tmp/ folder is not writable!? who is your host?
My host is powweb (www.powweb.com). Anyway I have full acces to chmod
I put /www/p/pescarul/htdocs/forum_pescuit/Sources/Recent.php to 777. was 644
But don't work
My host is Powweb too...
Guess there's where the problem lies... ::) Im already on to them...
btw... you dont have to do anything to your files/folders... they are all ok... its a powweb issue...
Probably. Problem appear at exacty time you said: 45 ago first your post. I'll check powweb announcements...
got answer from powweb: Some customers may be getting the following error message on their forum: "Can't create/write to file '/var/tmp/#sql_ca0f_0.MYI' (Errcode: 13)". Our admins have been notified and are currently working on a resolution. We will keep you posted once the problem is resolved.
so we have to wait ;)
yeah.. same here...
here's the thread...

now we play the waiting game... ::)
Thanks for letting me know, I run this forum from one of the Powweb servers and I had not changed anything myself.

LATER : Funny enough it does not effect a PHPBB2 forum, I have one set up for my brother and its working fine.

It may or may not. This happens when, for any reason, MySQL decides it's better to run a query by making a temporary index for it. This can often be faster than otherwise, but can sometimes be slower; either way, this is done automatically and not something the script can directly control.
