Title: Can a User Adjust Their Font?
Post by: Jdanniel on January 29, 2009, 06:15:02 PM
Hi everyone.

I'm using 2.0 beta 4 and had a question from a member.  She wants to know if she can adjust the font size, since the default font is too small and her eyesight isn't what it used to be.

(Heck, neither is mine.)

If this is possible, what must a member do?  Thank you!  Jd

View >> Zoom >> Zoom In

alternatively:

View >> Zoom >> Zoom Text Only

Your browser will do it for you.

You can also install this mod: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=270944.msg1805153#msg1805153

However it will only change the size of text in posts, not anywhere else on the forum.

Do users install this mod, or does the administrator?  Does it permit the user(s) to adjust the font size?  Thank you.

You install it by using the package manager in SMF admin. It lets the users choose from three or four font sizes.

ETA: You can also edit the style.css file if you want to increase text size outside of posts.
