I have a client that would like a bilingual Forum en/french. Is there a way to modify the registration to add language preference on the registration form, or have a small icon flag to change the language preference "on the fly?"
I am new to this Forum and willing to learn so set me on the right path and I'll try it out...Just need to know where to start....

Yes this is possible. You can add the GET variable "language" to the forum url which will be effective as long as you stay inside the same browser window.
Example: http:://urltoyourforum/index.php?language=french
will activate the french language user interface
