I wanted to amalgamate 3 boards into 1. I foolishly deleted 1 thinking I would be asked if I wanted to move the topics into another board. I wasnt asked. How can I get the topics back ? and how do I delete a board and move all its topics into another board.
Did you delete a whole Category or just a board with topics in it ??
If you deleted a complete Category. It would of asked you and / or told you where it was moving the boards to or to delete all. like so

If you deleted a "board with the topics in it. It would of erased them completely. Only way to get back then is from a back-up (if you recently made one)
No I deleted a board. I thought it might have created a salvage area nd dumped the topics there but it didnt. No worries I rolled back to the back up database. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

If not, you can go to Admin > Forum Maintenance > Move Topics and move all your topics from one board to another there.
