If you go under forum category>Boards> Delete a board of your choice.

Sorry, I couldn't find the path you gave: forum category->Boards->Delete

There are only three options under forum: Modify Board, Create new category, Settings

I'm using SMF 2.0 Beta 4 by the way. thanks

Its under your modify board.... it will show your list of Caterorys and your boards.

Admin -> Forum -> Boards -> Go to "Modify" next to the forum name -> Delete Board (Scroll to the bottom of the page)
