Title: Problems with location of New Topic and Post Reply box when wrapped.
Post by: disintegr8 on February 04, 2009, 10:10:49 PM
Don't know if this is in the correct place but here gows.
I am using SMF 1.1.5 with Classic YaBB SE theme wrapped in Mambo 4.6.5.

I have the topic list shows up in the right place and the topics and completed replies are in the right place but of you start a new topic or go to post a reply, the panel moves to the bottom of the Mambo page instead of it's correct 'wrapped' location. I assume it is some width setting somewhere but I have spent hours trying to find an answer.

Any help would be appreciated.
Phil.

You should upgrade to smf 1.1.8 as a matter of urgency.

There are several essential security fixes for exploits that you need to keep your forum secure.

I think this topic might need moving to Integrations section.  I think thats why it has had little response so far.

Moved to Mambo board. Hopefully someone will be able to help you there.

Are you using one of the default Water and Stone templates for Mambo?

To find out if it is a width problem, you could check template files for "width" and change that values (also check the width of images, if there are any bigger ones). Or try using a different template with variable width.
You could also put the forum into a div container and set overflow settings for the div. So you could find out if it is a width problem or if you have to look for something else.
