How come when I added myself to 3 groups, on my posts it doesn't show the ocons for all three of the groups I'm in?..It only shows the admin icon? (5 stars)
it only shows your primary group, you still get permissions from additinal groups, i suppose if you really wanted to, set admin as an additinal group and the one group you want to show as your primary group, and you will sstill have admin powers, but they won't know ur an admin without looking in your profile.
Is there a mod to show all the images?
i don't think so, i don't see why you would want hat but i suppose you just edit display.template.php and where it shows the primary membergroup image you add the code to add the images for all other membergroups under that too. :-\
You can try to go to your admin panel and click on current theme setting.scrool down to the bottom and look for Hide post group titles for grouped members? If its checked off undo it and see if that works for you.Hope this helps.rider :D
no i think Switch3Z wants to show the usergroup image for all groups a user is in.
Ok I suggested it cause when I 1st started my site it used to say admin and underneath that it said newbie.I was able to hide the newbie by doing checking the the box I mentioned so I thought if you undo it it would show all the groups you belong to.If I miss understood the ? then I'm sorry.I was just trying to help.rider :D
Rider, if his question had been as you thought, you would have been correct with your reply. In this case, Switch3Z is asking how to display all icons for all groups, and that is not a default of the software. What Switch3Z wants will require a modification.
Ok thanks. Then i'll watch this thread and learn something new . :D
when i get home, i'll look at the display.template.php file and see if i can get it to show all icons for you. ;)
ahhh you're the man Ryan, thanks a lot. ;D
I need to quit messing with forums until I can get enough patience to learn PHP. I work for the school system doing networking and tech repair, in the process of making a script for a movie, and doing web design. I dont have a lot of time for anything much else these days, lol.
Well, again, thanks a lot. You all have already been a major help.
Feel free to email me at RayRay2004 at gmail dot com or add me on messenger... bossman438 at hotmail dot com :)
no promises tho, i don't know for sure if i can figure out how to get it working, hopefully this times if i have a question about this mod, it won't be moved to tips and tricks after i go though all the work and packaging it up for no reason.
If you can't, that's ok. You tried. :)
can you add me on

ok I found this. It says to display the PRIMARY group. What do I need to change to show them all?
// Show the member's primary group (like 'Administrator') if they have one.
if (isset($message['member']['group']) && $message['member']['group'] != '')
echo '<span style="font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: normal;', !empty($message['member']['group_color']) ? ' color: ' . $message['member']['group_color'] : '', '">', $message['member']['group'], '</span><br />';

hmm i saw that too, i will have to look at more files to see how it shows additinal groups in the prfile or perhaps [unknown] or another developer can help.
edit: ok i don't know how i would do that with smf...
/me calles for [unknown]
I'm afraid only the primary and post group information for a member is loaded automatically. I believe Tyris... or someone... posted how to do it for all groups.
-[Unknown]
