I want this options, so that my forum members feel free to use my forum. VBulletin is having this option. Even MyBB, a free forum also having this option, is smf is having this option. If not, is there is any mods for this. I am using SMF 2.0 RC1.
It isn't a core feature.
There was a mod for it for smf 1.1.x http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=965
HOWEVER it is not compatible with smf 2.x, and the the mod is no longer supported by its author
(the mod is looking for a new active developer)
