Try uploading all the files from the SMF 2.0 RC1 Large Upgrade package found here (http://download.simplemachines.org/). Overwrite all the files with the files from this package. You may delete the upgrade.php and the .sql files since they are not needed. Try using a FTP program like Filezilla to upload those files.
I did not upgrade. I download the install files from the main page

it dont matter if it was an upgrade or new install what greyknight17 suggested is use the large upgrade package and remove the upgrade.php file and the .sql files and upload the package using FTP to overwrite all the files on your forum in an attempt to fix your problem

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance? The link you posted to your forum is broken. It takes me to an error screen for 000webhost.
