Otsikko: need a hand with my Personal Messages
Kirjoitti: jcastellese - helmikuu 17, 2009, 12:01:06 IP
We recently upgraded to smf 2.0 RC1. We ended up ditching the majority of our old template files, including the PersonalMessage.template.php

We've just recently learned that our personal message function is not working properly though. The suggest function seems to be malfunctioning (at least I'm assuming it is still in the suggest area). I've gone through the code and I'm able to confirm that it is sending the request and it is coming back. Additionally we were later able to see the message display, but they are displaying in the bottom left corner of the screen and are completely unformatted. No fancy box, no highlighting when you mouse over them.

I wanted to see if someone could tell me where the call for positioning is made and where the formatting it stored in the code so that I can check everything is valid.

If anyone wants to take the time to check it out first hand, my site is http://www.monroetalks.com/forum - you can pm me, "admin"

Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried CTRL+F5, it might be a cached old file in your browser cache?

Are you using the SMF Default Core Theme?
Any smf errors?
Any JS errors on the page?
