Version: SMF 2.0 RC1
Is there any way to make a image AND color apply to a username, so when they post, it'd look something like this:
(https://www.simplemachines.org/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg293.imageshack.us%2Fimg293%2F7214%2Fexamplehn3.png&hash=20d99089c7ed2bf6d61cec80573444592e974213) (http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/7214/examplehn3.png)
For colorizing the nicknames,i'd suggest that mod

To put an image before your nick, you should try to edit your Display.template.php
Thanks for the color thingy, but I'm rather new to SMF, I do not have any file named "display..." in my theme. Do you know what else I could do? My theme is MysticJade if that helps

If your custom theme doesn't have own Display.template.php,then you should edit it from the default theme
I cannot edit my core theme, doesn't come up on the Modify Themes list

You can edit it via FTP,also just download Display.template.php from Themes/default/ directory and edit it according to your wishes and reupload it again
How do I use FTP? / What is FTP? (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=480.msg689#msg689)
I'm going to guess this is it. Would you agree?

Yes,that's exactly the right place to edit
Do you have any tips how I could do this, we could pretend I have an image uploaded already called admincrown.gif. Im only familiar with Java and have never messed around with php
As i see,i've already explained that in a previous topic

That'd work, correct?
Erm, what if I wanted to make my MysticJade theme have crowns, would the file be Index.template.php?

What do you mean ? ::) For putting crowns before the usernames should be always used the Display.template.php

My theme doesn't contain a Display.template.php, but the Core SMF theme does. I want to use my custom theme and I'm not sure if this would be the file equivalent to Display.template.php

Thanks for helping me so much so far!

My bad! I was a bit unclear. The theme isn't customized by me, it's just another theme; however, I wish to make that specific theme (with no Display.template.php) have images before a username. I do not like the default theme and I am wondering if this is possible.
