Hello,

I believe I have found a bug because I have no clue how to counter act this continuing occurrence. Members of my forum who do not have the proper mask are still able to view the private boards if they click "Show Unread Posts". When clearly they are set not to view any of those topics. Help?

Sounds similar to some of my problems. I upgraded from 2.0 beta 4 to RC1, then got similar issues. I ran through all settings in the admin center and saved. Now most problems are gone.
ut if I run an upgrade again, some of the issues are returning.

I can't replicate this in RC1.

Most common causes of this which I've seen
- boards set to local permissions
- regular users allowed
- use of mods which don't affect certain areas (View Only Boards amongst others come to mind)
- integrations

In my case it's a pretty new beta4 forum with new users and no changes of membergroups upgraded to RC1. Members could see the IP of "repport to moderator" at each post. And there were some other issues that seemed to be related to that. Saving all settings in admin panel one by one, was the solution for me.

Before that I tried a lot of different solutions again and again like clearing cache, clearing browser cache, using different browsers, upgrading the forum again.

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance?  Did you try any of the suggestions by regularexpression or akyhne?

I'm not the author of this one, but I just had a similar issue.
