Yes, I'm having a problem regarding board and group permissions.
For my board I've set up a forum that only one group can access. This group can only view this forum and none of the others. So to test this out, I created a new user, added it to the group, and logged in. At first it worked and only the specified board was revealed; however, after a log out and a few minutes (maybe 5?), I logged back in and all of the forums were revealed. A bit perplexed, I switched back to my admin account and checked the settings: they were the exactly as I left them. Out of frustration, I deleted the dummy account, setup a new one, added it to the group, and logged in. The specified board was revealed and the rest hidden, but after a log out and a few minutes, the problem occurred again.
Any help?
Strange. Can you pm me with the URL and login information so I can try it myself?

Looking at the one forum, which should be special people only, it looks right. Only "special people" is checked.
The other two boards, which I presume you DON'T want "special people" to see, are not set up properly. They are set like this:
[X] Guests
[X] Ungrouped Members
[X] Local Moderator
[X] Global Moderator
[ ] Special People
[X] Newbie
[X] Jr. Member
[X] Full Member
[X] Sr. Member
[X] Hero Member
The problem is simple. The test account you gave me is in *TWO* groups. He or she is in "Special People" and in "Newbie" because he/she/it has 0 posts. Thus, this member has access to these other two boards. To remedy this, change the permissions to:
[X] Guests
[X] Ungrouped Members
[X] Local Moderator
[X] Global Moderator
[ ] Special People
[ ] Newbie
[ ] Jr. Member
[ ] Full Member
[ ] Sr. Member
[ ] Hero Member
Now, only people NOT in the "Special People" group will have access.
Note: I know, I used different names for the groups/boards/etc. than you did, this was just because I wanted to make it clear to anyone else who might see this topic.

A-ha! *slaps head* It all makes sense now. The boards would go visible after I made a post with the dummy account thus putting them in a new group. Thanks for clearing up the issue.
