Our PM functionality isn't working the same as it was in 1.1.7. It used to have a "find user" functionality as well as auto flow members names into the "to" box as you typed.
Is there a way we can just reinstall this part? We have a custom theme, which caused quite a bit of problems.. I'd imagine this is just another one of those..
Thanks.
Its probably the custom theme.
Do you have the same problems with the smf default core theme?
Looking at the SMF default and now I'm not seeing it in there either.. Here's the message from the user after we updated to 2.0 - maybe it's a feature that wasn't brought over, but, it seems to make sense having it.. ??

There used to be a feature when sending a Pm that allowed us to look up a members name - it was simply called find member.....
That option is not there anymore - or if it is I can not find it.
Can we have that feature back please?
SMF has an 'auto-suggest' feature now, that when you start typing in a users name and hit 3 characters, a drop down will appear with names that match (similar to Google's front page search).
Excellent - any reason why mine wouldn't be working?
Would need a link to your site and a test account to investigate with.
JS errors on the page?

Need a test account too. Can you create one please?

Actually, I don't need a test account... You're using a 1.1.x theme with 2.0 rc1, I'm amazed it's working properly.
If you try with the default theme, does it work?
I see what the problem is. After you type the first three letters.. it calls the usernames but puts them down in the lower left corner of the page.. I wasn't seeing them before. Probably an issue with the theme I take it..
*Edit - if anyone has any idea on how to fix this, I'd appreciate it! I see the problem, but haven't got a resolution...
It's because of the incompatible style sheets... your stylesheet doesn't have the needed declarations for 2.0RC1 from the default theme.
