I'm probably asking a question that has a simple solution here but here goes.
I'm in the process of manually transferring data from my 1.1.8 forum to my new 2.0 forum. This is a painstaking process where I'm copying and pasting the values in each field of my database into the new version.
I have managed to transfer most of the data but I have an interesting problem. The data I've transferred into the 2.0 forum now shows that all the posts on the forum I've transferred are "New Posts" and I can't seem to mark them as being read.
I'm probably missing something here but does anyone know how I change it so that all the "new" posts can be marked as read?
When you were manually transferring the data from the sql dump, you probably didn't transfer smf_log_topics, did you?

Yes, I did. However, I've find the solution by going to he forum maintenance and running a routine check on the database. :)
