I just did a conversion from phpBB2 to SMF. The old admin username has been wiped. It excepts my old username from PHPBB2, but refuses to send a reactivation email. Even if I do get in, how do I get to the admin section?

I may have made a mistake of having the forum in the maintenance mode when converting???

In this case, you actually didn't delete your Admin account, however, the link provided by TE will help :)
Create a new account and run that query to update the account's group ID :)

Thanks for the responses. I had to take the wife to a doctors appointment and in the meantime my IT guy got me in.

Does this always happen during in import conversion?

My conversion was also a bust, got users but nothing else.
