This theme would be perfect for my board, Chex Quest Fan Forums.  http://chexquest.org/

The problem is, I can not get any of my mods working with it.  One of them, AJAX Integration, causes the entire theme to not work.  I tried a package parser, but I couldn't find some of the lines.  Does anybody have any suggestions?

Deleted all folders/files, then downloaded again, but I dont see anywhere to select a default color.

I see the colorchart on the right, but I dont see where to make purple the default setting.

Very nice theme!
Although, I have one request. Would it be at all possible to make it so that when you mouse over/have a link selected on the bar, instead of only having the Green box be one set size, can it cover the entire text?

I like the theme very much and it works well with lot's of mods, but i get one error:

8: Undefined variable: first

File: /home/antoinette/domains/sportvissersforum.nl/public_html/Themes/Newton_RC1/BoardIndex.template.php (main sub template - eval?)
Line: 104

Looks great, but is there any reason you have spaced the words so far apart? It's kind of hard on the eyes. Do you know what/where you made that change?

Fussilet, I don't get why you used font: ADMUI3Lg ???

This isn't web friendly font and not only users can't see it, I can't even find it for download.

You should use Tahoma or Calibri, or Segoe UI - something like that, what is default or can be found on web.
If you change font in .css i'm sure your theme shall have better effect. This way it seems like you made it in
Times New Roman which is not so good choice. Looks lousy.

Hi Fussilet, just discovered this theme, searching for a new and fresh one after Mysterious. And again... One of your works!  :)

But I have a question.
As I use Tiny Portal in this theme the left and right panels are left!
It opens only with the centre block and even the menu-item "Forum" is missing on the front page.

In the settings of Tiny Portal I read the blocks are left when using "single page option" so I thought maybe this is the reason but I can't find anything like that.

Is it possible using the Newton-theme exactly on the same way like Mysterious, with all panels visible?

EDIT: I use SMF 1.1.12

When I visit BlocWeb I see nothing about Tiny Portal anymore!
Is it finished then?
How I can get a newer version???

Thanks... Little bit weird; seems Bloc has somehow abandoned support on this but I need the mod to continue my forum...
TP 0.98 cannot be uninstalled and the upgrade doesn't work without uninstall...

Seems I have to search for another theme again.
Petty.  :-\

Well in the end I have solved the problem with an easy way for upgrade TP to 1.x!
So now I was succesful in loading the theme Newton.
Still I'm only missing the "Forum" button in the menu.
Also would like to integrate a gallery button because the use of SMF Gallery.
Is there a way to integrate buttons?

open index.template.php

find:
if (in_array($context['current_action'], array('forum', 'search', 'admin', 'calendar', 'profile', 'mlist', 'register', 'login', 'help', 'pm')))

replace with:
if (in_array($context['current_action'], array('gallery', 'forum', 'search', 'admin', 'calendar', 'profile', 'mlist', 'register', 'login', 'help', 'pm')))
find:
// Show the [home] button.
echo '<li', $current_action == 'home' ? ' id="active"' : '', '><a href="', $scripturl, '">' , $txt[103] , '</a></li>';

add after:
// Show the [forum] button.
echo '<li', $current_action == 'forum' ? ' id="active"' : '', '><a href="', $scripturl, '?action=forum">Forum</a></li>';

// Show the [gallery] button.
echo '<li', $current_action == 'gallery' ? ' id="active"' : '', '><a href="', $scripturl, '?action=gallery">Gallery</a></li>';

First I wondered what you meant by saying "It ISN'T ok"... But now I know.
It looked all fine to me but lateron discovered problems with the articles.
Somehow the articles were corrupted: I could not edit long texts.
Trying to solve this gave me an error I needed to upgrade the database so I did.
But after that TP does not function anymore because of a major database error...
I need to reinstall forum completely again it seems.

For all this I go on in forum TP but just wanted to mention it here: Newton + TP is not working at the moment. :(
