I just installed SMF.. my hosting provider had a script to install version 1.1.7, then I discovered there was a new version, so i downloaded and isntalled the upgrade.. to 2.0 RC1.
In the admin aread, some of the menu's are blank.. like this attached image shows.. any ideas?
you must be missing some language files.
Download a copy of the upgrade patch
Extract the folder
Themes/default/languages
and replace those files over your existing ones at the same location as your smf site.
When upgrading/you did the first time, ftp obviously didn't replace them as it should.
