Otsikko: Count child's posts in parent's totals
Kirjoitti: six_L - maaliskuu 06, 2009, 12:44:33 AP
LainaaStructure of the board in question:

board
    child 1
        child 1a
             child 1a1
             topic
             topic
             etc.....
        child 1b

    child 2

The 'board' is showing the time of last post based on that  TOPIC inside child 1a.  What is odd, is that all the site activity is going on in child 1a1.  People posting in there every minute or 2.   Those times do NOT show up on the BOARD last post time/date.  BUT, those times from 1a1 are the times that show up on last post of child 1, child 1a, and child 1a1.

This is very odd and wrong behavior...
LainaaYes, currently the Count child's posts in parent's totals setting only goes as far as the first level of child boards, and not grand children boards and below.
is it right?

'Last post' only goes to child level (not grandchild or deeper)

IIRC counting of child posts/topics goes deeper than the 'last post' element.

Admin > Boards & Categories > Settings
Check "Count child boards topic/posts totals in parent board"
