How I can modify the group of a user? :)
goto their profile and click on Account Related Settings
you'll see it, if you want to make them a moderator, goto Admin -> Manage Boards click modify next to the board that you want to make the user a mod of and add that users login name, not display name, in the textbox, that says moderators:, you can click this ((https://www.simplemachines.org/community/Themes/default/images/icons/assist.gif)) or whatever rplaces that icon for your theme to list all members and dubble click the name to add it.

well now you know how to make a mod too. ;)
