i am trying to convert from phpbb to smf...i uploaded the converter and it asks me for the smf database password...wat is that? would appreciate the help...

I know what to do...I just don't know how to find that password...i dont remember making any password...
You need to use the MySQL database password. In most cases it should be the same user/password as your phpBB database.
when i want to check the sql databases on my website...i dont put any password...unless u mean the password i use to log on to the website itself...i tried that password but it didnt work... ::)

You should find that password in the phpbb configuration files.
