I use smf 1.1.8, and recently i had problems with a mod, so i restored the default theme (copied from the smf 1.1.8 installation files), and then a newly registered member told me, she has post 4 messages but under her name it shows posts: 0. How can it be repaired? Can anybody help? Thank you.
Which mod was causing the problem before you replaced the files?
it is a mod called picture on board, i probably download a higher version and installed, my fault of course, and it can not be uninstalled, i then installed a the pictureonboard 1.1 version, but then it displays 2 pictures left to the board names, so i gave up, i wanted to go back, but i didn't have backup, because i am new to smf, i don't kown how to make backup before installation mods. So i just save all default folder in theme folder to a zip file and deleted the default folder then i upload the default folder from the smf 1.1.8 installation package.
Any chance to repair it? Thank you!
DO you have any other mods installed?
If not then you need to look at the manual install instructions for the mod and replace all the effected files with fresh copies from a large upgrade package.

By the time another member wrote me that number of his posts are calculated incorrect.
Have you tried running Forum Maintenance > Find and repair any errors and recount all forum totals?
Yes, I tried many time "Find and repair any errors" and "recount all forum totals", It didn't help.
It is a forum converted from Molyx board.
I found out it happened only to members that registered after the convert. The post count works normal with members who registered before the convert.
I am really desperate, for such a small error, i have to give up a forum?
Since this forum has been converted you may want to try posting in the Converting to SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=20.0) and see if the specialist there can help you.

the posts counter is wrong? the forum maintenance cannot solve this.. try this modification instead:

you should also check all boards for the "count posts" option:
