I am my forum's admin...I just started my forum and made my boards...but for some reason i cant login anymore...it tells me my username doesnt exist...what do i do?
Try logging in with your email address, perhaps?
Is it possible your account could have, accidentally, been deleted?

ok...i tried playing around with the forum files thru the site's control panel...now it seems my ip has been banned...

Heh, oops. I suggest you close all your browsers, after going into phpMyAdmin and clearing out the smf_banned table (emptying it, not dropping it) like so:
TRUNCATE TABLE smf_banned;
