I have a odd question to say the least, I went in my e-mail, my personal e-mail and this e-mail was waiting for me.... Yet when I signed in here just now, went to my messages there was no message
waiting from this person ( I came to check their username) but no message was here? Anyone care
to help me solve the mystery?

First, Im from Holland, English not my first language, so forgive me the mistakes.
I own a spiritual forum and I really love this theme!
Only for a spiritual forum the colors are to dark. I hope you understand what I mean. It's not to be insulting.
Unfortunately, I cannot change the coulors, It's all Hocus pocus te me.
Is it perhaps possible that you'll help me out?

I think the person used the bcc funtion while sending a pm ;) although I dont know why they would do this when there username is in the email they used to register on smf, thus making it easy for everyone to do a quick search of there email and then finding there profile, just as CoreISP did :D

Well, the strangest thing to me is, how did he hide his username from not appearing
on the e-mail, especially since this user is "a new member"? Seems to me this "new member"
has alot of acess to simplemachines, for being a brand new member? I had robbie send me
two e-mails from here using the bcc function, which in fact didn't hide his username? Anyone
care to explain that ? How would a new member get that sort of option? Seems very strange
to me. Just my opinion.....

What e-mail option? In fact I should just ask our "new member" hey ninetje do you have

I suppose the email option refers to using the little icon in the attached screenshot.
Awww thank-you Norv, wow he/she was a busy camper to figure that out, find my theme, decide it was to dark, and then find a post so he/she could send me an email, and then compose the e-mail,
all in the matter of ten minutes from the time he/she joined simplemachines, till I recieved the e-mail...
Maybe he/she should add speedy to his/her username... :D

I'm sorry but if they sent that email to you in private it was for a reason. Don't you think you should respect the privacy and KEEP it private? We didnt need to see the email, maybe just the header (to and from part) if ANYTHING.
I don't know if you're trying to show off or just not thinking, but I certainly wont be trying to contact you in private if you won't respect my privacy.
I'm sorry if I offended you jade by posting that, but I really was confused, I didn't even know
there was an e-mail option on the forum... I actually was suspicious of the whole incident, may I ask
you a question? Is there anyway that I can request that there not be an e-mail option on my account?
I don't understand why we need it with the private message option. I and it just may be me, but
I really don't feel comfortable with someone I haven't shared my e-mail addy with, to just be able to e-mail me like that... Again, I am very sorry if I offended you. xx
