This mod changes the author name display style in topic listing , it changes it from a column to under the topic subject.
also adds 3 icons, and displays topic age in days

well i actually didn't know about this when i made it, the idea came and i materialized it , but its not completely same, and u will see more options in this one, its a word !

Calm down =) I don't say these mods are the same. I say this is "same idea". Do you clearly understand this ? Yeah i know this mod and babsuji mods different. Of course features are the different and i happy for your mods support 2.0 rc-1.1 and smf 1.1.9

If mod creator onlined sometimes, you can send pm and ask he|she. And if he agree this, team transfer to mod from you.  If mod author no longer available you can send pm to team. I guess team transfered to mod from you.

I installed, tried to apply and this is what I get as result on SMF 2.0 RC1-1 on default theme:

1. Execute Modification ./Themes/default/MessageIndex.template.php Test failed

I'm newbie with forum editing so lemme get this straight before doing:

I should install this mod and then go to "Manual Install Instructions for SMF" for your mode and then choose 2.0 RC 1-1 and look for 4th replacement under ./Themes/default/MessageIndex.template.php , right?

If I'm correct then this would be it:

You may wanna change the actual mod details in the mod, not just the topic, I was thinking:

"What a douche, he put that its for 2.X and 1.1.X, but it also says; Note: 1.1.X Only".

I did parse and it works now (although I had to watch to not change some other packages I've made there) but if you look at the upper right table field you will notice some strange gray box:

details say that your mod works with 2x ..i am using 2.0 RC1.2, but it says "the package is either corrupt or not supported by your version"...
is this a problem or your mod really dont support 2.0 RC1.2 ??

it does support it my friend, but the package it only updated till rc 1-1, i am working on v 1.3 right now, it will be rc1-2 supported.
1x package is finished and will be uploaded in few minutes,
but 2x is not yet done ( 1.3 )

check the screen shot of you like it then wait for  2 days , you will get the new one.

V1.3 is now available ( for 1x only )

i need some help with it, i'm using egad's gold night 2 theme and it's not working, works fine on the default theme.

I checked the files that the mod changes and all the changes are there.

I'm thinking I probably have to edit the MessageIndex.template.php,
and it didn't work.

Please update it for SMF 2.0 RC2

I love this mod and it works perfectly on default theme but not on my custom theme. I tried making the edits in MessageIndex.template.php myself but it screwed up when I tried. I would truly appreciate it if someone could do the appropriate or correct edits for my theme.

Interesting mod, thanks for making

This mod is just transferred to me. I think it is still relevant and useful especially to those who are using SMF version 1.1.x. I am not sure whether SMF 2.0 users need this but will see how I can make it useful for them too. I have one mod that rearrange hot topic icons which may be useful to be integrated some where some how. I will announce an update later when they are ready.

Is there a similar mod or setting to show a topics age in messsage and board index? Thank you
