Title: IPB 2.3.1 to smf 2.0 RC1.2 unknown columns problems.
Post by: Mu3rt31 on July 21, 2009, 10:37:37 PM
Greetings folks,

So time has come that ip board is converted to smf.  :D I start with creating copy of the ip board and setted up fresh install of newest 2.0 RC1.2 install package from smf site to another folder created to test out this conversion.
So i point my browser to folder where smf was installed and to conversion.php with the 2.3 sql file it does ask me ip board location, smf location, db pswd as it should so it starts.
Then following error appears:
Converting...
Converting members...Unknown column 'memberName' in 'field list'

Gotta add that ip board db was also copied from orginal that i can safely test out this conversion, they have same user in db that has full access to ip board db and smf db.

Mucho thx for you help on this matter  ;)

the converters from our converters board are all SMF 1.1.x only, you can check our downloads page for 2.0 compatible converters..

Mu3rt31,
sorry for the late reply.. our 2.0 converters are still beta and not fully tested. You can install SMF 1.1.10 and use the 1.10 converters, they should work as expected.

No problemo! I alredy did the conversion as you descriped, convert to smf 1.x then upgrade to smf 2.x worked just fine.

Mucho thank you!  :D
