FYI everyone, I am at the datacenter replacing failed hardware that caused us to go down a couple of times recently. As a result, we may be up and down a bit the next couple of hours. I don't anticipate any long outages.
thx for the letting us know.
Thanks, and good job!! :)
Thanks for the heads up.
Thank you very much. Thumbs up!

Thanks for the heads up dschwab9.
Hope it goes as simple as planed and that you don't drop any screws on the motherboard like i tend to do :)
vagrant.
New machines are installed. No screws touched any motherboards in the process :-)

Thanks again dschwab9. Your dedication is truly appreciated.

That wouldn't have been possible without the Charter Membership donations and other donations... so thanks go out to everyone who donates to our project.
I'm proud to be a Charter Membership and i will remain forever.
I'm happy to know that my money keep SMF online.

Great Feedback ;)
thank you
Sorry, but it didn't work too well, as the average pageload is 6~10 seconds.
And search is far worse.
I know there is a lot of people online, but that's no excuse for these load delays.
Not trying to be a pain in the but, but rather report the slow speed.
Need to say more:

Due to high stress on the server the forum is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
We're on it :)

You have to be faster then that!!!! Just kidding. :) Hope it isn't too bad. I love this forum.
We're isolating the issue. Some pages were changed right around the time the original server died, so it could be an issue with those changes as well.
Atleast were back ;)
Hello,
I need to ask a question about the time server went down. I couldn't reach my forum for a while as everybody, but after server is back, I couldn't login. All our accounts are gone or is there anything we can reach our old forums?
OR we need to create a new forum and register all the members again?
This may be a late question but I was not available to ask that before. Thank you..
This should only potentially have affected things if you were in the admin panel at the time; nothing else.
If things are more messed up please open a topic in the appropriate support board where myself or one of the other Support Specialists can advise you further on your specific issues.
Hi all.. I hope I am posting this where I should..
When I try to access my forum i get this message
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.
Also there is a Tab that says Data base error
What can I do? :(
You can open a topic in the support boards instead of hijacking a news post by SMF. :) Your posts is most likely to be read by support people in the support boards.
