Title: How to add static html pages to SMF?
Post by: Blandest on August 29, 2009, 09:43:18 PM
My goal is to make a website that has the appearance of the simplemachines.org website.  That is, there is a menu at the top that links to several pages, one of which is the SMF forum.  The other pages for my project will all be static pages, so this should be really simple, no?  But I have had a hard time trying to find any kind of tutorial or template for doing this.

I just want a menu across the top that has links to other pages THAT USES THE SAME MARKUP/CSS AS THE FORUM ITSELF, so it all looks like one nice integrated website.

Thanks for any help.

The procedure is straightforward (basically just text links in anchor tags) but the exact coding would depend on which theme you wanted to use and exactly what look and location you want for the new menu.
