Title: IPB 2.3 to SMF 2.0
Post by: wise on November 09, 2009, 06:32:47 AM
It converts nothing - and outputs lots of same line as per below:

Converting members...Error in convert script - line 22!
Error in convert script - line 23!

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_EMPTY, expecting '(' in /home/username/public_html/forum/convert.php(1259) : eval()'d code on line 1

if you don't mind the extra work, I recently converted from 2.3.x and initially went to a 1.10. release of SMF, then upgraded from there.

I have exactly the same problem as the thread owner. I tried the other attached by Norv, but instead of the "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_EMPTY, expecting..." errors I receive "Converting members...Wrong value type sent to the database. Date expected. (birthdate)".

savas110,
that's a different error.. did you use our 2.0 converter or the 1.1.x converter? I'd recommend to use the 1.1.x converter (2.0 converters are still beta).
