i have notice that any imagen on smf dosent get indexed by google or other bots why?
well only hosted images get indexed but miages posted from pages like imageshack and others dont
it woud be nice if every image get indexed on every post it coud help alot a comunity i dont know i want to hear ideas
any ideas i dont know if mi the only one concern about this and if it afects or not but i think its bad meaby 30% of visitors come from images on search engines
Maybe they aren't indexed because they aren't physically part of your site? I don't know... You can try uploading them to your site or making sure "alt" and "title" attributes are applied to all of the images. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help
They won't get indexed as being part of your site since they aren't physically part of your site. If you want to have images that are posted in the forum draw in people from image searches, you will need to host the images yourself, which is often done by using a photo gallery script such as Gallery2.

this is what i ment why smf dosent do this?
the idea its to get indexed images from imageshack,tinypic from all post in smf like other pages using other scripts

Is this issue resolved now? If you want them to be indexed, why not use a gallery mod as mentioned? All images should be within your website and should be indexed by Google and others.
