I'd like to implement Paid Subscriptions but only allow acertain membergroup to be able to subscribe or even see that they havethe permissions to do so. I've been advised that this will take some code adjustment and so I thought I'd put a mod request in and see if anyone is up to the challenge.
I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one using this :)

I was thinking along the same lines, for version 2.0RC3 right?
So, for example, subscription 1 - visible to regular members who once subscribed are in group 'supporter'. Subscription 2 - visible only to members in the 'supporter' group and this puts them in yet another group or whatever.
Hope that makes sense. This isn't the exact example I am looking to use it for, but it describes the process I think.

I was just about to request this Mod when I found this thread.
This would be perfect.
While you're creating a new subscription, you could then select the Member Groups that you would like to see it and allowed to subscribe to it.
Member Groups that were not checked couldn't see the subscription in their "Profile/Paid Subscriptions" area.
Man, Can't wait for this one!

If I knew how to I would do it myself.
Maybe some day I'll have the knowledge to create a mod for other members.

Just popping my head in on this. As it is I'm having to use an entire Wordpress installation and a membership plugin to achieve this.
It would be great if some more knowledgeable than myself could advise or even put together a solution for us?
