Smileys
Be Square Smileys is a smiley package for SMF containing replacements for the default smileys used by SMF installations, as well as a few additional smileys. They depart from the usual elliptical shape that is used so often and instead use rounded squares.
GIF vs. PNG
It is strongly recommended that forum administrators install the GIF version of this mod, unless they have already changed (or intend to) all of their smiley sets to use PNG files. Otherwise, it will cause unnecessary headaches.
