Title: [BUG] 10 seconds from last post on edit
Post by: ۞ on August 05, 2003, 05:11:21 PM
If you edit a message within 10 seconds of posting it you get a "The last posting from this ip was less than 10 seconds ago" This shouldnt be the case, right?

Why not?  Don't be post or edit happy!

I guess I could make it only count posting or say "the last post or edit from this IP..."... Okay, I should do that.

Personally, I don't think you should go around editing at lightspeed either.  But, that's just me maybe.

Usually edits that happen after 10 seconds are to fix a typo. Plus it has always been that you could edit without post restrictions.

you should only get this for posting new. The reason why it is there is to stop bots from spamming your board, editing an already existing message can't spam your board ;)
