Title: Can you use the way back machine to convert?
Post by: Y2Chaos on April 07, 2010, 07:11:39 PM
This may be a very silly question. As a novice, I am not sure.

I initially had a yabb forum from 2005 to 2007. I simply changed to SMF and started completely over. I made no attempt to convert or carry over as I did not know that was possible at the time. I did not back up my forum.

I was playing with the way back machine and noticed my entire old forum is still there. Is there anyway to retrieve my old files and carry them over to my current smf forum? I am thinking no as I can't access the admin area on the way back machine.

I was just curious.

No converter for that. Issues would be not all content would be there and it would be hard fora converter to getting any good data for that.
