Nice Mod!

I'm getting a error in the log when you do a search from the search button in the menu bar. Searching from the search button where you can select the type of search above the news works without the error. Im using the default theme and RC 2.0 RC3

Error reads:
forum/index.php?action=search2
Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Undefined index: custom
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file
File: /forum/Sources/Search.php
Line: 267

Line: 267 reads:
==>267: switch ($_POST['custom']){

Thanks D#S i've added it to my site. I now have "default" and "google". Is there a way to switch it so that Google is Default and SMF is secondary?

Is there a way to make this mod 1.1.x friendly?
I need my search option to be like what is on this site.
I want to be able to add google custom search there.

or a way to delete my default search box (or make it appear only to some membergroups) so everybody will use google custom search instead?

Any ETA on this? Thanks. Also it would be better to open the search result in a new tab/window so the user does not leave your site.

Nice MOD. But unfortunately not working for 2.0.2. I have this message when i tried to install.
The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.
Any idea when this will be ready for 2.0.2?

Awesome mod!

Once you've installed it, you can use the manual parse instructions for SMF 2.0 to go back and edit the codes.  Since they're in list form, it's quite easy to add new general search engines onto the list--from YouTube to Wikipedia to Amazon to whatever else.  Just change the url to the search url of the desired page, and take off the part that searches the site url.  As long as you can find the correct search url (usually by searching the site with a nonsense term), it's pretty easy to set up.

Am i missing something here?

I installed it for my test forum on v2.0.3. Assume as www.my-test-forum.com.
Ran a search on the word "health" in Default. That works fine.
I did the same search using "Google" instead of "Default". Now Google retrieved some links only from my www.my-test-forum.com.

Is it the way it should work?

I assumed that "google" search will show up the same result when we use goolge.com.
