Title: Changing display size of forum
Post by: YVRGuy on June 08, 2005, 08:07:59 PM
Hi, sorry if the answer to this one is posted elsewhere but my searches have not come up with anything.

My site is set at 700 pixels wide.  I would like to match my forum to this size for consistency.  Can someone tell me where I need to do this?  I thought it was in the index.template.php file but when I change all the 100% references to 700 it still does not show correctly (it actually shows at 95% when I look at the source from the front page of the forum).

Thanks for your help!  :)

Look at the last few lines of the template_main_above function in Themes/default/index.template.php

Please note that this may do strange things to your board, so backup the file before you do that.

Nice, also, it would be in index.template.php that one could add images to the borders of ones forum? Similar to the themes Babylonkings creates, where there are tons of astonishing graphics?

Yes, that's where you would add them.

Hmm, didn't seem to work for me.  I changed the 100% reference as you indicated and changed every other reference I could find to 100% and still no luck...

Can you give me a link to your board? I don't know what could be causing this because I can't even find any "width="95%"" things in the default theme...
