I Had RC 1 or 2 and after an upgrade and database restore I have all the attachments in all the messages but they show only as the links. New ones I upload do show normally. Is there anyway to get the old ones to display within the posts like they used to?

When you go to Admin==> Attachments And Avatars and, under Browse Files, click Attachments, do any of the older ones not showing up appear in that list? If so, what sort of message do you get when you click the link for one of them?

Yes all the attachments show up and the list when I do that and the links also show up in the posts and they all open as pictures if you click the links but they do not show open in the posts yet all new attachments do.
Here is an example of the url of a pic that shows open within a post
http://....../sm/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2500.0;attach=1925
Here is one that only shows the link
http://......./sm/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2354.0;attach=1889
They both look normal
