Title: about modification.language.php

as i tried to add some translated text for my menu on other language
the text i added in modification.language.php
it ended up all words are garbled(see attachment
i tried to convert database to utf8, convert the text to utf8, and clean up caches
still don't work
anyone help me?  :-[

Mostly there are 2 language packages availeble:

modifications.yourlanguage.php and modifications.yourlanguage-utf8.php

Which one do you use ?
Are you sure the version you edit is the same as the one is selected ?

it has only one type, the utf-8
and i still get these garbled words
the version is the same

chinese.simplified, chinese.traditional, and japanese

here is the one i done for chinese.simplified which is garbled

Maybe somebody else can have a look at it, on my computer it shows as rubish but I think that will be a problem with my computer.

When I look at it I would say your Mod.language file is not the way it should be. But again, It will be a problem with my computer.

i downloaded pspad and used it to edit the files, now it's working fine, thx anyway
