Hi,

I have converted from mybb to smf ..all is good but..I have this weird URL thing:

http://www.asli-indian.com/index.php/board,5.0.html

? is missing from the url and , is replaced with it.

please help me in fixing it.

disable the Option "Search engine friendly URLs" (Admin - Configuration - General) and your URL's will have the questionmark back.

Thanks..it worked!! could you please suggest which is better for google?

1. without ? (enabling the feature)

2. With ? (Like I wanted)

3. Using mod

Google does not care anymore.

prettyurls are only really useful to make them pretty or easier for humans to figure out. Search Engines scan forums with ? and & just fine these days.
