Got the following message when trying to manage boards in the admin:
Database Error
Got error 28 from storage engine - check database storage space or contact the server administrator.
File: /home/live/public_html/smf/Sources/Subs-Boards.php
Line: 1470
Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.12, while your database is at version 1.1.9. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.
I did a search on this site for clues about what might be causing it, and what I found suggested I check disk space on my web host. I checked space on cpanel and I have unlimited space. No problems posting new messages either. Any other ideas about what might be wrong?
That error you host will need to fix contact them as soon as possible.
That means the server is out of storage space.
Yep, you were right! My host had it fixed in 5 minutes. Thanks!
