I wouldn't see this being of much use, the post button is located above the topic summary so if you don't want to see it, you don't have to scroll down and view it.

Then it's meaningless to use the 'ignore user' mod, isn't it?

After all, the ignored user's postings still appears in the summary. And the person who wants to ignore someone now ends up viewing postings he has 'ignored' when he wants to look through the summary to quote another poster and reply to him.

This could probably be done through the use of a custom theme although I would detest it.

Klumy, I would love to see your vision of a forum bearing in mind all your feature requests :P

This doesn't really have anything to do with an ignore user mod. Having the mod not show posts made from users you have ignored in the topic summary would be a better solution in my opinion than having the summary collaspsable.

How do I go about informing the creator of the 'ignore user' mod? Maybe he can improve on the mod. :)

No harm in trying. ;) If this is the mod you are talking about, (http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=185) you can try asking in the mod's support topic (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=49149.0).

Thanks for the information. This is deeply appreciated.

I will now look at the threads on how to get google adsense put up on my forum. :D
