hello frnds :)
i want full step by step procedure to install smf on xtreem host
i also paked my co.cc domain on xtreemhost
now i need full tutorial for installing smf latest version

i tried:(
while using webinstall method it asks for ftp info.
what should i enter in these fields
server
port
install path
you would have to contact your host if you dont know your ftp information, it may also be listed in your hosts control panel.
in mt cpanel
it showed
server: ftp.xtreemhost.com
i tried this but nt working
while installation by default port is set to 21 and server is set to localhost

Try the site url as server.
it says
"Unable to connect to FTP server with this combination of details." this error is because of server,port,usrname,passwd fields
"Sorry, the FTP path you entered wasn't the same place as this installer was uploaded to." this erro is because of install path field
try /public_html as the install path
i tried manual install
uploaded the zip file in root folder
after called ..../install.php
i've created a database named smf
what should be the Name & no. of fields
name and number of fields for what?
