Title: Convert Attachments
Post by: fairwea1 on December 12, 2010, 11:30:59 AM
Is it possible yet to convert attachments stored as files from vbulletin 4.08? Conversion went smooth except for attachments.

Thanks,
Eric

Hi, thanks for the reply! That is the converter I downloaded.

I received this message:

Warning: copy(/1_324de9b893ada91c41d8d943ed4a448e3500a8f8) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/****/public_html/smf/convert.php(1264) : eval()'d code on line 44

The attachments are showing up like this:

I'm guessing I would need to put where my files are stored?

Hi, I thought all was well but....

I downloaded my smf installation and loaded onto another server. This is what all of my pics look like now.

Any help on what's going on with my attachments would be great.

Thanks,
Eric

I believe the ftp transfer mode was not properly detected. change the transfer mode to "BINARY" in your ftp client and copy all files again..
