can you please provide more information? as I just tried on my own test site and it is working as it should.

More interested in what mods do you have? what does your error log say?

No errors in log.

hmm this is interesting one, none of those mods will effect, and i cant reproduce the issue, so I will pretend I know whats going on and will ask 1 thing, can you using your ftp client manually upload the files overwriting them all, this could simply be an error occurred when system did the upload used to happen alot in 1.x forums not so much in 2.0.

Also I looked at your forum, seems you may need to upload portal.css into the Chocolate Curvaceous css folder this should fix the blue on the blocks :)
Title: Re: Thanksgiving 2010
Post by: Kimmie on November 16, 2012, 07:48:32 AM
ok I will try overwriting them and see if that works.

As for the other, thanks... That has been driving me nuts to fix, but I just havent had the time to look into it yet..lol. I assume that file is a part of the theme and should be in the rar for it?

Will let you know shortly of both worked or not.

No portal.css file in the themes rar file. Where do I find it?

Thanks

no portal.css comes from the Simple Portal mod, you will find it in default/css/ just copy it and put it in  Chocolate Curvaceous folder aswell.

As for my theme please keep me updated :)

Yeah I figured that out after I had my coffee LOL.

I need to update my SP to the latest version so I will do that in a bit. That file is named portal_rtl.css so I will upload that to the other themes when I do.

I have already overwritten the thanksg themes files but it still did not resolve the issue. :/

WAIT, it did... kind of.. they are WAY DOWN THE PAGE now  lol

your joking right??!?? did you clear your cache?
Title: Re: Thanksgiving 2010
Post by: Kimmie on November 16, 2012, 08:49:00 AM
as long as it does not cause any problems with the site, I can probably "live" with it. Its the only descent TG theme out there right now  lol.

I am sure you want to get this resolved though.

One thing I would highly recommend tho is... the "thanksgiving part"

(https://www.simplemachines.org/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi47.tinypic.com%2F14no7fa.png&hash=bbf0ec069ffc36dcbacbf0284d1b53869cc568ba)

I would recommend moving it over to the center more in this area

Theme has been updated to include the new CSS, also includes a license and a few small fixes :)
Title: Re: Thanksgiving 2010
Post by: Kimmie on November 16, 2012, 10:57:14 AM
I have a question...lol

the image of the "wheat and turkey".. is that supposed to cover the entire background or just that top corner like it is? I think it would look better if it spanned the top half all the way across and the solid on the bottom. That would look fabuluss :)

You can see the theme if you go to my site, it is my default now.

nooo im just marketing for the portal :)

Marketing for Simple Machines, Simple Portal and BunnyRabbitSex (Literature website)

Ask in the portal topic or on simpleportal.net (im not clever enough to make a portal)

Is there an easy way to widen the forum (i.e. the right and left borders are not so wide)?

I tried adding width to the below in index.css but it seem to have no effect:

/* This division wraps the entire forum when a forum width is set. */
div#wrapper
{
margin: 0 auto;
width: 98%;

}

I havent looked at this theme since I sold it but you should be able to change the width in Admin Panel - Theme Settings
